Hayden had his haircut for the 4th time since birth. Following are the “saloon” that we took him & I have my comments for all of them:
1st time @ 4th mth to shave his head – 1 of the Kid saloon at Parkway Parade

Very good & professional. I was carrying Hayden and the lady was very gentle and careful. She kept some of Hayden’s hair into a angbao for my keep. Charged $16 but service was good.
2nd time @ 13rd mth – Junior League at Suntec City

Very good too. They have the mini TV screen and lots of toy to distract the child. Hayden sit on the chair all by himself and I was sitting next to him(I’m so glad that he didnt need me to carry him). He didnt cry too. In fact he was looking at the other children who was screaming away. All he need was to have a hand to hold and watching his barney video. Charged $10.
3rd time @ 16th mth – Junior League at Suntec City

Very good too & we have the same “hairstylist”as our previous visit. It was the same experience as before. Charged $10.
4th time @ 19th mth – Super-ABC at Compass point

Poor. I don’t think I will ever want to bring Hayden there for a haircut. Consider they have a section all setup for children & consider their charges, I would expect a more patient & accomdating services. When the “hairstylist” put on the towel around Hayden neck, he gets uneasy and already want to get out. We try to talk to him and coax him. It was just less than a minute the lady started to cut his hair when we were talking to him, this was before anything was place on him!!! I stopped her.. telling her that he will feel itchy all over.. she cant do that. I thought this is very unprofessional.. all she want is to quickly get done with us cos the saloon was pack… So she found us a bib and ask if we can try that.. Hayden didnt scream when we wear that on him.. so we placed a towel on his tights. She started to zap zap zap again and each time she zip Hayden will turn his head… I think he didnt quite enjoy this haircut. It cost $17.
